V. Used Oil Collection and Recycling

Used Oil Collection is a SeaPort service involving pre-qualified independent contractors who collect used oil from SeaPort customers. Only those collectors who demonstrate financial stability, sound business practices and satisfy SeaPort?s environmental assessment are allowed to participate in this program.

The used oil collectors are licensed and insured to provide safe, proper disposal of used oil in compliance with all environmental regulations established by federal, state and local governments. SeaPort further inspect the collectors? facilities, equipment and recycling processes, to make certain they are capable of servicing our customers? fluid disposal requirements. In addition to collecting used oil, these collectors will collect used oil filters, antifreeze, sorbents, rags, greases and oily water, assuring their proper recycling or disposal.
